CERTIFIED TRANSLATIONS for USCIS and more!
Accurate translations for life’s big moments, including immigration with USCIS
I know enough about USCIS translation requirements that I wrote an article about it for the American Translators Association.
Are you filing paperwork with government institutions? Applying for a work visa? Applying for study abroad programs? Getting married abroad? I get it. As an American who studied abroad in Spain, moved there for work, fell in love, applied for dual citizenship in Spain, and then applied for my husband’s green card via USCIS, I’ve been through it all.
In each of these cases, you may need a certified translation of your documents, and in most cases, an apostille from the state or country where they were issued.
These paperwork-heavy moments can be stressful. I’m here to make it easier on you.
I provide Spanish-to-English certified translations as required by USCIS (U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services). If you need a sworn translation (traducción jurada) for immigration processes in Spain or an ATA-certified translation for other processes in the United States, I can put you in touch with trusted colleagues that provide those services.
(Certified translation requirements vary depending on the country where you are submitting your documents, which is why you should always make sure you know what type of certification is required before contacting a translator.)
Here are some examples of certified translations I offer, including certified translations for USCIS:
Birth certificates
Death certificates
Marriage certificates
Divorce decrees
Transcripts
Diplomas
Bank statements
Apostilles
Passports
And more…
But, why me?
Wendy, a legal assistant at an immigration law firm, says: “Molly provides excellent layout and complete accuracy to each translation she provides. I recommend her highly.”
